The Clinical and Counseling Psychology concentration, formerly known as the Mental Health Services concentration, provides a foundation for understanding how people handle stress, relate to others, and make life choices. A B.S. degree will lead to jobs as substance abuse counselors, behavior technicians, residential treatment specialists, intake specialists, youth counselors or eating disorders technicians, to name just a few. Graduate degrees and licensure is required for some career options, such as clinical counseling, social work and other related fields.
