Campus Ministry is one of the ways I have witnessed John Carroll students gathered into one by the unity of the Holy Spirit, which is a beautiful sight. It has been a community for me to grow in faith, hope, and charity, by following the footsteps of the saints in line with the Jesuit tradition.

Retreats
Our retreats are open to students of all faiths and all those who are actively searching for deeper meaning and purpose in their lives.
Immersion Experiences
Immersion trips are seven to ten day experiences to a variety of domestic and international locations that invite and challenge participants to enter into solidarity with the people, culture, history, and other realities of the region.
Small Faith Communities
Carroll Faith Communities (CFCs) are grounded in spirituality and community. They are a safe place to reverence the individual experiences that bind us together. Groups consist of 8-10 members who gather weekly for faith-filled conversations.
Liturgy and Worship
More than 100 students are involved in planning liturgies, as sacristans, lectors, Eucharistic ministers, and altar servers. In addition to Mass on campus, there are other opportunities to participate in Catholic devotions.
Social Justice Initiatives
Inspired by Catholic Social Teaching and dedicated to a “faith that does justice,” Campus Ministry engages students in social justice related activities through immersion experiences, advocacy trips, speakers, workshops, and much more!

The First Year Retreat was the perfect thing I needed during the first semester of my Freshman Year. It was an amazing opportunity to meet new people that I now call my best friends, and grow deeper in my relationship with God. I believe that if I didn't go on this retreat, I wouldn't be where I am today.
Becca Cigany, Class of 2027
The Silent Retreat left me with so much to think about, including a desire to learn more about myself everyday and my relationship with God. I think about the retreat often and continue to hold those thoughts and feelings with me in my day to day life.
