John Carroll University senior Nora McKee is the 14th recipient of the 2023 NBC/John Carroll University “Meet the Press” Fellowship, a nine-month position with the top-rated Sunday morning public affairs program and the longest-running television program in the world.
Exclusive to John Carroll University students, the NBC/JCU Meet the Press Fellowship honors the legacy of Tim Russert ’72, who passed away in 2008 following more than 16 years at the helm of “Meet the Press.” The University’s Department of Communication also bears his name.
McKee, of Gibsonia, Pennsylvania, will graduate this month with a Bachelor of Arts in Communication focused on Digital Media. She also carries minors in Creative Writing, Leadership Development, and Peace, Justice, and Human Rights.
McKee is proud to have earned the Meet the Press Fellowship and eagerly anticipates the challenges of contributing to the weekly political program.
"This opportunity is an incredible honor,” said McKee, who will contribute to the weekly program in a variety of ways.
