Vision:
We envision a campus community where all students are confident in who they are, connected to others, and inspired to contribute their unique strengths to the life of the university.
In collaboration with other University departments, the Center coordinates programs and services that foster an inclusive campus environment, promote a welcoming and just University community, and encourage and value the contributions and perspectives of all students.
Goals:
- To provide campus-wide programs that further all students’ development of cultural competence and respect for diversity and social justice.
- To provide leadership opportunities for students that focus on engagement in campus and community organizations.
- To identify, examine, and recommend organizational changes that remove barriers to inclusion and promote student success.

The first time I ever walked into CSB it was after my RA, Angie Urbina '25, looked at me and said "stop sitting outside and come in girl." Since then CSB has been my landing zone, somewhere to go between classes, to sit and talk with other students, learn new perspectives, and work on class work. CSB has turned me into the leader I am today, given me the chance to impact the students around me positively. CSB has taught me how to engage in meaningful dialogue, not only with students, but with staff and faculty as well. If I hadn't decided to finally sit on the couch and soak in the welcoming environment and warm people I would never have the experiences that are currently shaping my college career." -Maddie McBride '28
