Office of the Institutional Review Board (IRB)

The mission of the Institutional Review Board (IRB) is to safeguard the rights and welfare of all human subjects who participate in research conducted at John Carroll University. In compliance with federal regulations and institutional policy, all research projects involving human subjects, human biospecimens, or identifiable human data must be reviewed and approved by the IRB. The IRB is the cornerstone of JCU's Human Research Protections Program (HRPP).
