The University of Hull was founded in 1927 in Kingston upon Hull with 39 students and today boasts a vibrant student population of around 18,000. Academically the University of Hull has more than 50 academic departments spread over the arts and humanities, business, education, the sciences, and the social sciences. In addition to the wide range of classes, the University of Hull is a regional and national leader of research.
