ZSEM has been awarded by AACSB accreditation in 2013, placing ZSEM as a top Business School in Croatia. Eduniversal, the French portal known for its rigorous quality assessments, has for the fifth consecutive year selected ZSEM as the best business school.
ZSEM is situated in a quiet neighborhood in the Northeast of Zagreb. It is a combination of urban campus with the calmness of the suburbs. Our campus is a remarkable place to spend your student years. ZSEM’s campus is well connected to the rest of the city through Zagreb’s public transport system. Standard bus lines from Kvaternik Square, one of Zagreb’s main public transport hubs, can bring you to ZSEM in just a matter of minutes. Five minutes away by foot from ZSEM, you can catch a tram that will take you to Zagreb’s main square, from which you continue to any other point in the city.
JCU students can find their website in English here and the website of the International Office here.
Visas are not required for U.S. citizens, and the temporary stay permit can be arranged upon arrival.
Students are able to apply all John Carroll University financial aid (scholarships, grants, and loans) with the exception of work-study, to the cost of tuition, room and board on this program. For specific questions about how your financial aid package can be applied, please contact the Office of Financial Aid at JCU.
As there is no on-campus dormitory, ZSEM assists exchange students in finding private rooms or apartments near the school. Apartments for rent are usually available within the range of 250 Euro up to 500 Euro monthly, depending on the conditions and location. (Overhead expenses are usually not included in the rent). Check for more information and suggestions here.
